1. License Agreement
The first step is to agree with the Cpanel license. Of course you agree!
2. Setup Server Information
This second step is very important. Notice the first box:
Its very important to setup the email address for cpanel. Cpanel is going to send you all sorts of interesting information. If you read what cpanel tells you, it will warn you of impending doom help you maintain a healthy server.
This step is even more important because it affects all accounts that are created on the server. DO NOT LEAVE THOSE DEFAULT VALUES. Choosing the can be complicated, there is even an acticle dedicated to this question: What are Sago's DNS Servers?
Sago DNS servers do not go here. This where you will type the name servers of your primary domain for the server. Let us use example.com. Here you would put ns1.example.com and ns2.example.com. If this cpanel server will be doing dns (almost all of them do), then you will need to assign it an IP and setup the A record. Usually the first ip of your server is ns1 and the second ip is n2. You will also have to set these up to be your DNS servers in your registrar. Often to do this you must force the registrar to recognize your name servers in a special section. Sometimes it's called "Register Nameservers" or "Hosts" or "Glue Records".
Everything else in this step two has good defaults. Unless you know what the rest of the setting are, we don't advise you changing them.
